NES Hires Mark Weber as Controller

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville Electric Service (NES) announces the appointment of Mark Weber to the position of Controller.

Weber was most recently a director in the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP. While at Deloitte, he has trained personnel at all levels on courses for accounting and internal control at local, regional, and national venues. He also has served as a controller to a medical services company and has experience with not-for-profit and governmental accounting.

As NES’ Controller, Weber will oversee the accounting practice including remittance, payroll, plant accounting, accounts payable, taxes, fixed asset accounting and cash management. The position is also responsible for internal and external financial reporting for NES.

Weber earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y.
