The holidays will be a little brighter this year for 80 children and 10 senior adults who will receive gifts under the tree on Christmas morning thanks to the generosity of Nashville Electric Service (NES) employees.
The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program was created in 1979 and gives individuals and partnering corporations, like NES, an opportunity to adopt less fortunate children and senior citizens who would otherwise receive very little or nothing during the holiday season.
NES has been a proud supporter of the Angel Tree program since 2008. Along with adopting angels in need, NES employees are also supporting The Salvation Army by manning a Red Kettle as bell ringers at NES on December 13.
I think it’s safe to say the Christmas spirit is alive and well among our employees. Join in and spread joy this December. Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!
