NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville Electric Service (NES) has received high rankings from both Standard & Poor’s and Fitch. NES was assigned an AA+ rating to the bond issuance and was affirmed the AA+ rating assigned to all bonds currently outstanding.
This rating places NES among only a few other public power utilities in the nation to receive such a high ranking.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville Electric Service (NES) announces the appointment of Robert “Bo” Campbell, Jr. to its Power Board.
Campbell is a partner attorney at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP in Nashville. His practice consists of business and commercial transactions with a primary focus on commercial real estate and in public private partnerships. Prior to joining Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, Campbell practiced more than 20 years at Nashville’s Donelson Stokes & Bartholomew.
Campbell is a board member of the Nashville Downtown Partnership and serves various professional and community organizations in Middle Tennessee. He is regularly recognized by Nashville Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” list and was named Outstanding Commercial Real Estate Attorney in Nashville in 2011. To celebrate April as National Energy Action Month, NES joined the Adventure Science Center Career Day and an educational panel. Our linemen explained how they keep power running and demonstrated using a bucket truck to make repairs. Visit the NES Facebook album for more information.
The NES team also presented the Bailey STEM Magnet Middle School with a certificate for being selected as one the 15 national finalists in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition.

The American Public Power Association awarded NES the Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) Diamond status, the electric industry’s highest designation for achievement in four key areas: reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement.
